Corrections Officer Arrested For Drug Possession
An apparent corrections officer in Racine County was arrested after he hid a bag of pot "in his genitals" as police searched his car.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A man claiming to be a corrections officer has been arrested and charged after a traffic stop on Memorial Day revealed he was caught with marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.
According to the criminal complaint of Keith R. Christensen, Caledonia police officers were on second-shift patrol in Caledonia in the area of Five Mile Road when they observed Christensen's vehicle weave within its lane several times and travel over the center line of the road.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on E. River Road and made contact with Christensen. According to his complaint the officer was "overcome by the odor of cologne" coming from the vehicle. The officer also reported the odor of marijuana present in the vehicle as well.

According to his complaint, Christen went on to tell the officer that he was a corrections officer at the Racine Correctional Institution and that he did not smoke marijuana. However, when the officer began searching the vehicle he found a metal marijuana pipe inside of a soda cup inside the vehicle in addition to 1.3 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle.
His complaint also stated that Christensen had concealed a bag of marijuana by "concealing them in his genitals." Christensen produced the bag himself which was later analyzed for the presence of THC.

According to state records, Keith R. Christensen is a corrections employee with the State of Wisconsin. He's being held in the Racine County Jail on a $1,000 cash bond and has his prelminary hearing scheduled for June 15.
