Developer Plans Apartment Complex Near Foxconn Site

According to meeting documents, Blue Ribbon Developers of Milwaukee are interested in rezoning the property at 9602 Washington Ave.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — The first shovel of dirt has yet to be dug in the proposed Foxconn electronics plant in Mount Pleasant, yet a Milwaukee developer has come forward, proposing an 80-unit apartment complex near the future Foxconn site.

According to meeting documents, Blue Ribbon Developers of Milwaukee are interested in rezoning the property at 9602 Washington Ave. That property is located at the corner of Fancher Road and Highway 20 in Mount Pleasant.

The Foxconn manufacturing campus will be approximately 20 million sq. ft. — by far the largest project in the state, and will be one of the largest manufacturing campuses in the world.
