Downtown Racine's de Pizza Chef Run As Drug House: DA

A confidential informant reportedly met Ed Bilotto at de Pizza Chef several times over the last month to buy controlled substances.

RACINE, WI — The operator of a popular Racine pizza place has been arrested on drug charges after a confidential informant reportedly bought drugs from him on the property a total of five times in about a month.

Edward Bilotto faces seven drug charges including maintaining a drug trafficking place after police say he sold percocet, oxycodone, adderall, vicodin and Xanax out of a shed behind De Pizza Chef, 235 Main St. between April 26 and May 24.

According to his criminal complaint, a confidential informant met Bilotto on the property of De Pizza Chef only to conduct the transactions in a shed located right behind the property. According to the criminal complaint, here are the five drug transactions involving Bilotto and the confidential informant:

April 26: Confidential informant buys 11 Percocet pills.

May 8: 7 Percocet pills are purchased from Bilotto.

May 11: 8 pills are purchased from Bilotto that were identified as acetaminophen and oxycodone hydrochloride.

May 18: 4 Adderall pills are purchased from Bilotto. Bilotto also reportedly offered liquid oxycodone, but the informant refused the purchase.

May 24: 3 Percocet pills are purchased from Bilotto, inlcuindg 5 Xanax pills and 3 Vicodin.

If convicted, he could face up to 57-and-a-half years behind bars.
