Downtown Racine's Yardarm To Close, Re-Open As New Restaurant
It won't be too much longer before the Yardarm Bar and Grill closes and opens as Joey's East.
RACINE, WI -- The owners of the Yardarm Bar and Grill, known for its Sand Dollar potatoes, Friday fish fry dinners and live music is planning to end its 37-year run as a Downtown Racine fixture.
According to a Journal Times report Thursday, co-owners Lisa Caffery and Lauri Tomasek announced that they're selling the restaurant to Joey LeGath and spouse Ann. According to the report, the restaurant will change its name to Joey's East. Although the restaurant will keep Wednesday and Friday fish fry dinners, the report noted that the Sand Dollars will become a thing of the past.
