Driver Crashed After Going Into Roundabout The Wrong Way: Report
Investigators said that the vehicle struck a guide wire for a WE Energies utility pole, and then flipped over onto its roof.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI -- Authorities say the driver of a Jeep drove the wrong way into a roundabout, leading to a serious crash Sunday morning.
At just before 2 a.m. on Oct. 7. authorities responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident at Spring St. at South Colony Ave. in the Town of Yorkville.
When authorities responded to the scene, they found that the driver of a Jeep entered the roundabout at the intersection in the wrong direction at a high rate of speed. Traffic investigators said that the Jeep ultimately ended up crashing, going into the southwest ditch of the intersection.

Investigators said that the vehicle struck a guide wire for a WE Energies utility pole, and then flipped over onto its roof. The driver and lone occupant, a 33-year-old woman from Kenosha, sustained minor injuries in the crash. The driver was arrested on suspicion of their first drunk driving offense. Speed and alcohol were both factors in the crash, authorities say.
