Investigators say the deputies found that both vehicles were heading north when the 69-year old moved from the shoulder of the roadway into the path of the 19-year-old's pickup truck. Authorities say traffic was shut down for about two-and-a-half hours and that neither alcohol nor speed appeared to be factors in the incident.
Sheriff's officials say both men were Racine County residents and that here were no other occupants within either of the vehicles.
