Sheriff's officials say they arrested a man on suspicion of drunken driving after he was caught going 110 miles per hour on I-94 Sunday.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A man accused of drunken driving sped through a work zone on I-94 Sunday at 110 miles per hour, sheriff's official say.
At just before 9 a.m. Sunday, a sheriff’s deputy reported stopping a vehicle heading north on the interstate. The deputy reported clocking the vehicle traveling at 110 miles per hour in a posted 60 mile per hour construction zone, according to information released by sheriff's officials on Sunday.
Authorities said the car was driven by 41-year-old Jose L. Mendoza of Racine. A sheriff's deputy reported smelling alcohol on Mendoza, who later refused to perform field sobriety testing, sheriff's officials said.
