Easter Day Crash Leaves 3 Seriously Injured: Report
Police said collision caused the truck to roll over, and trapped the driver inside.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — A crash on Easter Sunday in southern Racine County left three people seriously injured, police say.
On Sunday April 1, at about 1:30 p.m. the Mt.Pleasant Police Department along with the South Shore Fire
Department, responded to the intersection Green Bay Road and County Line Road. for a reported two-vehicle accident with serious injuries.
Mount Pleasant police accident investigators said that the driver of a 1996 Dodge Dakota was attempting to turn onto County Line Road from Highway 31 when he was struck by a 1997 Chevrolet Carryall minivan.

Police said collision caused the truck to roll over, and trapped the driver inside. South Shore Fire Department extricated the driver, who was a 29-year-old man from Kenosha. He was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital for his injuries. The occupants of the minivan were a 59-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman from the Racine area. They were both transported by Somers Rescue to St.
Catherine's Hospital for non-life- threatening injuries.
Police are reporting that alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
