Asset Recyclers Million Pound Challenge

On April 22 of this year, we celebrate Earth Day. The day in which we take a moment to think about our earth and the natural resources it contains.  One of the biggest threats in our high tech, ever disposable society is the proliferation of E-Waste from businesses, organizations, and individuals.  Most people are not aware of the environmental impact caused by the millions of tons of electronics that make their way into landfills, and many are unaware of legislation prohibiting throwing away electronic devices in the trash.

At Asset Recyclers we feel the need to bring awareness to this issue by pledging to collect and responsibly recycle one million pounds of electronics between April 1st and April 30th. We need your help to do this. Please collect your equipment and help us keep one million pounds of E-Waste out of the landfills.

We will be hosting two free electronic recycling events in the month of April to help us reach our goal. The first being on April 12, 2013 for businesses only. During this event Asset Recyclers will gladly pick up any equipment free of charge. If you need a different day, we will gladly accommodate you and your business. Please call or email to reserve your place today!

The second event will be on April 13, 2013. This event will be held at our location (2811 Carlisle Dr, Racine, WI 53404). This is a drop off event onlyWe will be accepting material from businesses, residents, and non-residents. The event is open to anyone who wants to recycle responsibly.

Asset Recyclers will donate 10% of the revenue from these events to support the Racine County Zoo. The zoo is an integral part of our community and is an important piece of Racine.
