Clown Day and Open House at Historical Park

The New Berlin Historical Society is hosting a special family event, Clown Day, from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, June 26 at Historical Park. Sneekers the Clown will meet with children from 2-3 p.m., and face painting will be offered. Activities will include barrel train rides through the apple orchard, and a Victorian dance performance at the church from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., in recognition of the Civil War Sesquicentennial. Tours of the pioneer log home, little red school hous, historic freewill baptist church, antique apple orchard and two 19th century homes will be offered. Refreshments at the gazebo will include popcorn, hot dogs, drinks, ice cream, root beer floats and home made desserts.
