Maritime Days feature water, boating and fish-themed activities at Kenosha Public Museums. At the Civil War Museum on Saturday, rescue vehicles and personnel from the U.S. Coast Guard will be on site, along with a Navy Club Ship 40 display and naval artificats presented by curator Doug Dammann.
At 1 p.m. Saturday, Gene Salecker will present "The Sultana," a discussion of a Mississippi steamship that exploded in 1865,
On Sunday, the museum will focus on Civil War ironclad ships and teaching guests how boats float.
