Joe Fettingis demonstrates how to compose a landscape andhow to use the elements in the painting to createmovement, harmony, and balance. Each student is given a landscape project to work on to create a painting.There are 5-7 demonstrations each day on problem solving situations. Fettingis also provides a dramatic photo of aperson to paint. Learn how to work with vivid and strong colors by understanding how values and colors work together. "I believe in art… students learn by visualdemonstrations, that is why I like to use simple, small andto-the-point demos." The "no talking policy” during the workshop is a policy everyone likes because they can concentrate on learning without being interrupted.
