Foxconn Construction Resource Fair Coming Up

There is no cost to attend and no registration is required.

From Racine County: The jobs are coming. Now, it’s time to get prepared. As Foxconn prepares to build a massive manufacturing campus that will bring thousands of construction jobs to Racine County, the upcoming Wisconn Valley Construction Resource Fair will help residents launch a rewarding career in construction.

The fair, scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Festival Hall, 5 Fifth St., will connect people with community resources to understand the skills needed to enter the construction field. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required.

Some of the resources include career exploration services, job readiness and skills training, education programs, apprenticeship opportunities, re-entry workforce services, veteran services, and vocational rehabilitation. The Construction Resource Fair will also feature several workshops on pre-apprenticeship construction training, entrepreneurship, and jobs of the future.
