Foxconn To Hold Recruitment Events In Area
Attendees to Foxconn recruitment events will have the chance to submit their resumes and cover letters to the company.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — Construction has yet to begin on the $10 billion Foxconn electronics plant planned for Racine County, yet the company is wasting no time in recruiting its future workforce.
Foxconn will hold the first two of a series of recruitment events on Monday, Oct.9 and Monday, Oct. 23 at Marquette University. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit their resumes and cover letters to Foxconn at these events.
In the weeks and months ahead, the company will hold more “Foxconn Day” events at universities and technical colleges across Wisconsin as part of its effort to recruit talent for its advanced manufacturing campus planned for Racine County, company officials said.

“We look forward to meeting talented students and professionals during the Foxconn Day events across Wisconsin,” said Louis Woo, Foxconn Special Assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Foxconn said in a prepared statement. “We are excited to make career opportunities available in the state and grow the team that will help us create a robust 8K+5G ecosystem in the United States to meet future needs for the most advanced display technology.”
The event on Monday, Oct. 9 will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 West Wisconsin Avenue, in Milwaukee. The university invited students, faculty, staff and alumni to watch product demonstration and meet Foxconn representatives. Students and professionals can submit their resumes and cover letters via email to Foxconn@marquette.edu.
