Foxconn Update To Involve Housing Impacts, Road Construction

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI – The public is invited to attend the latest Foxconn project update, this July 16, as developers and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will present their latest public updates.

According to officials, the monthly Foxconn project briefings are staged to offer community members the opportunity to hear from Village officials and project partners about the latest Foxconn-related updates and activities and ask questions.

The next briefing will be held on Monday, July 16, at 6:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive.

The July 16 briefing will feature presentations from several officials, including a construction update from M+W Gilbane, and a presentation from Jerry Franke of Franke Development Advisors on housing impacts and opportunities, and an update from WisDOT on the design for County KR.

Future briefings will be held the third Monday of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Ebe Auditorium at Village Hall, located at 8811 Campus Drive in Mount Pleasant.
