Golden Rondelle To Host Mount Everest Climber, WWI Documentary

For each of these programs, doors open at 6 p.m. and the programs begin at 6:30 p.m.

RACINE, WI -- S.C. Johnson has hosting a full slate of Community Interest Programs at the Golden Rondelle Theater, located in Racine at the company’s global headquarters. These programs are free and open to the public.

Here is the October Lineup:

October 10 – “Your Personal Everest” with Mitch Lewis

Lewis has completed a marathon and summited the highest mountain on all seven continents; all guests will receive a copy of his first book, “Climbing Your Personal Everest – A Journey of Self Discovery and Leadership.”

October 17 – “All These Flowers” – a documentary

This film tells the emotionally charged story of six people diagnosed with bipolar disorder; program is in association with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Racine County.

October 19 – “They Shall Not Perish” – a documentary

This film details the unprecedented humanitarian efforts of thousands of Americans who saved a generation of orphans and refugees during and after World War I; program is in association with St. Hagop Cultural Committee and the Racine Public Library Foundation.

October 24 – “Restoring Our Polluted Lake Michigan Watersheds”

The Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network will lead a discussion on issues, solutions and restoration work that has occurred and is planned in the Root-Pike basin tributaries, the impaired Lake Michigan rivers.
