Golden Rondelle To Present 'The Gift Of Our Wounds'

RACINE, WI — The Golden Rondelle's next major community presentation takes on one of our area's greatest tragedies.

On Thursday, Nov. 14 “The Gift of Our Wounds” will debut at the Golden Rondelle.

In August 2012, many lives were tragically changed when a white supremacist killed six people and wounded four in a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. “The Gift of Our Wounds: A Sikh and a Former White Supremacist Find Forgiveness After Hate” is the powerful story of a friendship between two men—one Sikh and one skinhead—that resulted in an outpouring of love and a mission to fight against hate.

Authors Pardeep Kaleka and Arno Michaelis are set to speak of their experiences and how their paths came together.

Following the 75-minute presentation, there will be time for a question-and-answer session with the authors.
