Gov. Walker To Sign Foxconn Bill Into Law Monday; Here's Where:

Gov. Scott Walker will sign the $3 billion Foxconn incentive package into law on Monday. Here is where he will be signing it:

RACINE COUNTY, WI — Now that the $3 Billion Foxconn incentive bill has passed both the house and state senate, Gov. Scott Walker is taking time Monday to sign the bill into law.

On Monday, Gov. Walker will be traveling to Racine County to sign the bill, and will be doing so at a special signing ceremony to be held at the S.C. Johnson iMet Center in Sturtevant at 2:30 p.m.

The location of the signing ceremony, Racine County, raises speculation that the county will be the agreed-upon location of the electronic manufacturer's proposed $10 billion plant.

Walker's office has yet to reveal publicly the official location of the proposed plant, or whether a deal to acquire the land is in place.

According to state estimates, Foxconn would receive $2.85 billion in state funding over 15 years if it hires 13,000 people and builds the $10 billion electronics plant.invests $10 billion and employs 13,000 people.

An additional $150 million in sales tax relief has also been promised toward the purchase of construction equipment.
