Groundhog Day 2018: Livestream Video From Racine of Minnie

RACINE, WI — February 2 is Groundhog’s Day and in Racine, Minnie the Striped Skunk will be predicting the weather for at the Racine Zoo.

Sunny, the Zoo’s groundhog has recently decided that she would like to retire her meteorologist cap, and zoo officials say that Minnie has "graciously accepted the new role."

Minnie will be appearing live on Facebook at 9 a.m. and the general public has been invited to log on at that time to watch as Minnie makes his prediction.
