High School Classes Canceled Over Bathroom Bullying Note

Case High School classes have been canceled as a precautionary measure for Tuesday after a message was found on a bathroom wall - and dated.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI -- All classes and after-school activities at Racine Case High School have been canceled for Tuesday, Oct. 23 by the district after a threatening message was found on school property Monday.

The Case Eagles Facebook page posted a message Tuesday announcing the same: "Police are continuing to investigate the threatening message posted on one of our bathroom walls. If you have the opportunity tonight, we ask that you please talk with your child about the serious nature of any type of threat. Additionally, if your child has any information about this situation, please contact Mt. Pleasant Police immediately."

Stacy Tapp, the chief of communication and community engagement for the Racine Unified School District said that they're working with police on the matter, and expect that school will resume Wednesday.

The note of interest was written on one of the school's bathroom walls, and read: "I've been bullied and I want to die. People call me a [slur] and I don't want to live. The boy in my 3rd block has threaten my life so on Oct. 23 I will take him and more and more??? I love you dad. Sorry."
