RACINE COUNTY, WI — A two-vehicle accident Saturday in Racine County sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries and shut down a Highway 20 intersection for four hours.

According to the Racine County Sheriff's office, deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 20 and N. Raynor Ave. just after 5 p.m. on a report of a two-vehicle accident with multiple injuries.

When officials arrived, they learned that a sedan driving south on N. Raynor Ave. failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and was struck on the driver's side by a pickup truck driving west on Highway 20.
