Impaired Driver Walks Into AT&T Store, Asks For Chicken
A 54-year-old Kenosha man has been arrested for impaired driving after he initially walked into an AT&T store and asked for chicken.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — A 54-year-old Kenosha man has been arrested for impaired driving after the man was reported after initially walking into an AT&T store and asking for chicken.
On June 13, Mount Pleasant police responded to the AT&T Store on the 5500 block of Washington Ave. at about 11 a.m. on a welfare check of a 54 year old man.
According to the criminal complaint, Fernando Zamora, 54, Kenosha, walked into the AT&T store and asked for chicken. He was reportedly stumbling, seemed disoriented and tried walking out of the store by using the window instead of the door.

He reportedly left the store in an older-model Cadillac heading north on Newman Rd.
According to police, a Mount Pleasant officer set up to wait for Zamora's vehicle as it headed up Newman Rd.
According to his criminal complaint, Zamora slowly entered the intersection of Spring and Newman, only to come to a complete stop.

According to the criminal complaint, when the officer asked Zamora why he stopped in the middle of the intersection, he stated that "his brakes were bad." The officer eventually got Zamora to slowly go through the intersection and stop on the side of the road.
When he asked Zamora about going to the AT&T Store, he reportedly couldn't remember, police reported.
According to the criminal complaint, Zamora had not consumed any alcohol, but stated that he had taken a Xanax and Adderall earlier in the day
According to his criminal complaint, after failing several field sobriety tests, he was taken into custody.
