Janesville Man Dies At Racine Yacht Club: Report

Authorities are not suspecting any foul play.

RACINE, WI -- An 80-year-old man from Janesville is dead after authorities say he fell in the water Saturday morning at the Racine Yacht Club.

According to the Racine County Sheriff's office, authorities received a call from the Yacht Club for a report that the man fell into the water at about 8:30 a.m. and that he was unresponsive.

Authorities are reporting that the man - who was deceased - was pulled out of the water a short time later. Authorities are not suspecting any foul play, and that the man may have died of natural causes prior to entering the water.

Authorities have yet to name the deceased man, or any potential cause of death. He was a slip holder at the yacht club.
