January 2019 Students Of The Month Are From Walden III
Green School students from Walden III High School raised money for the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.
RACINE COUNTY, WI -- The Racine Unified School District's students of the month for January 2019 come from Walden III High School.
Green School students from Walden III High School led fundraising efforts to raise more than $9,000 for the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.
This money went towards solar panels that now sit atop the Veterans’ Community Center building. Not only do the panels provide the community center with electricity, but they also power 15 tiny-homes at the Veterans Village in Racine.
