From the Racine Theatre Guild: Limited tickets remain for the third concert in Racine Theatre Guild’s Jean’s Jazz series on Saturday, March 24 at 7 p.m. featuring the Million/Moulder Jazz Duo and Jamie Breiwick - Dreamland, the Music of Thelonious Monk.
The Million/Moulder Jazz Duo is comprised of Steve Million and John Moulder. Million is a professional jazz pianist, improviser, and composer. His recent release, Earthborn Tales of Soul and Spirit, is inspired by soulful individuals and has been described as a contemporary musical narrative.
Jamie Breiwick, a trumpet player, composer, and educator, will spotlight an infamous jazz artist during Dreamland, the Music of Thelonious Monk. Breiwick has performed with notable jazz artists such as Arturo O’ Farrill, Adonis Rose, Ralph Bowen, and Matt Wilson, as well as Grammy nominated R & B artist Eric Benet, Beck, and comedian Bob Newhart. He is an Instrumental Music Instructor at The Prairie School and was nominated for the Grammy Music Educator Award. Breiwick also co-founded the Milwaukee Jazz Vision, an organization guided by the purpose of advancing jazz and creative music.
