Man Arrested After Pedestrian Injured In Mt. Pleasant Hit And Run
A Kenosha man was arrested Sunday in connection with a hit and run that caused serious injuries on the 800 block of Newman Road, police say.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — A Kenosha man was arrested on Sunday in connection with a hit and run that caused serious injuries to a pedestrian on the 800 block of Newman Road on Saturday, according to a news release from the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
Authorities were sent to the scene around 8 p.m. on Saturday after a caller informed them a person was just hit and the suspect vehicle had taken off, and as of Sunday, the 55-year-old victim remained in critical but stable condition at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, the news release says.
Christopher S. Castilo-Moreno, 23, was arrested in connection with the hit-and-run and his vehicle was impounded, police say. He was charged with hit and run causing injury and reckless injury, police said, and charges were handed over to the Racine County District Attorney.
