Man Arrested for OWI on Interstate With 16-Year-Old Passenger

RACINE -- A 47-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested by the State Patrol for reportedly drunk driving with a 16-year-old passenger in his car.

According to police, Haltex Jakarta Deacon, 47, Milwaukee,was stopped for lane deviation while driving on I-94 in Racine County.

As police conducted the traffic stop, the deputy detected signs of intoxication on Deacon. The trooper administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and Deacon was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated, 1st offense, with a passenger under 16.

Deacon was also charged with operating without a license, no insurance and deviation from designated lane.
