Man Dies in Early-Morning Accident on Highway 32

MOUNT PLEASANT — A 20-year-old male pedestrian struck by a vehicle and killed early Sunday morning on Highway 32 in southern Racine County.

According to a report by the Journal Times, the crash reportedly happened near the intersection of Chicory Road and Highway 32 in the Lake Park neighborhood. Authorities said the man was crossing Highway 32 from east to west when he was hit by a northbound vehicle.

Highway 32 was closed for several hours Sunday morning as Mt. Pleasant and the State Patrol investigated the crash.
