Man Shot In Union Grove, One Arrested: Report

UNION GROVE, WI — A gunshot victim was transported to the hospital and the suspect was taken into custody early Thursday in Union Grove, according to authorities in Racine County.

At about 6 a.m. authorities responded to the Village of Union Grove on a report of shots fired.

Racine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and located the victim who sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital and treated and is expected to survive.

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office reports that they have a suspect in custody.

From the information investigators gathered on-scene, they do not believe there is any further danger to the community.
