Man Who Broke Bus Windshield Arrested In Whitefish Bay: Report

Police say the suspect was later found on the 5500 block of N. Santa Monica Blvd.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say they arrested the man responsible for hitting and shattering a Milwaukee County Bus windshield.

According to police call logs, a Milwaukee County Bus driver flagged down a Whitefish Bay Community Service Officer at just before 5 p.m. on Aug. 15. The driver told the officer that a 26-year-old Milwaukee man exited the bus, and struck the windshield, causing it to break.

Police say they searched the immediate area, and were unable to find the man. Police say the suspect was later found on the 5500 block of N. Santa Monica Blvd., where he was arrested. He was later booked, cited for criminal damage to property, and released.
