New Concert Series Coming To Monument Square On Saturdays

RACINE, WI — Twin Disc is sponsoring Saturday Sounds on the Square, a free series of outdoor concerts in downtown Racine this summer, as part of the year-long celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary.

The series begins with the blues and R&B group the High Stakes Band on June 23 and runs through September 1, 2018. The series is organized by the Downtown Racine Corporation.

In addition to music, Saturday Sounds on the Square will also feature pop-up shops, galleries, and food vendors. The concerts will be from 2 to 5 p.m. The full schedule follows.

• Aug. 25 – Loose Strings (Contemporary Chamber Music)
• Sept. 1 – Rocambu Jazz (Calypso/Latin Jazz)
