No Parking Meters In Racine? Matter To Be Discussed
City officials are opening up their Tuesday meeting with a public comment hearing to talk about parking meters:

RACINE, WI -- Is it time for parking meters to go in the City of Racine? City officials will be discussing that matter in front of the public Tuesday night.
"The Committee of the Whole is holding a public comment period tomorrow night at 6 p.m., in the Common Council chambers, to gather the thoughts of the Community on parking meters. I encourage you to come and give us some input," Racine Mayor Cory Mason said Monday morning.
Metered parking spaces are located throughout Downtown Racine. Parking rates range from 30 cents per hour for up to 10 hours or 75 cents per hour for up to four hours. The city estimated it collected about $400,000 in revenue from parking meters in 2019.
