One Dead in Single Vehicle Crash Saturday
Police say the 59-year-old woman suffered an apparent medical emergency before the crash
MOUNT PLEASANT — A 59-year-old woman died after her vehicle veered off the roadway due to an apparent medical emergency early Saturday in Mount Pleasant.
According to Mount Pleasant police, the woman was traveling westbound on Washington Avenue when her vehicle, a silver Dodge Caliber, veered off the roadway to the right and entered the ditch line, FOX 6 is reporting.
The woman did not have a pulse and was not breathing, and first responders immediately beganlife-saving measures. The victim was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead
