OOHPIE vs. The Big Bad Wolf features classic fairy tales, combined with classic rock for an educational, fun show - with morals and more. Take some well-known stories and a famous villain, add a touch of OOHPs humor, back it up with live musicians, and you have a children’s theatre event that adults will enjoy as well.

Following the success of their 2014 children’s production, OOHPIE’s Fables, and the first production of OOHPIE vs. The Big Bad Wolf last year, Over Our Head Players presents an encore of this show sure to entertain new generations of theatre-goers.
These famous – and possibly a bit “fractured” - fairytales are enhanced with live musical accompaniment from different classic rock eras. In addition to the stories, children will enjoy introductions to the music and musicians. Audiences will learn a little of how rock music evolved and gain an appreciation for both musicians and actors, all while enjoying good comedy.
OOHPs specializes in short, fun, original comedy, so it is a natural transition to a children’s production from the shows they usually do. Rich Smith, who adapted and directed Big Bad Wolf, notes that the actors are bringing the same comedic energy and timing to their new, younger audience.
