RACINE, WI — Park High School student Greta Mau has been named as the Patch.com Student of the Month for February in the Racine Unified School District.

Mau had one of her poetry works published in the Winter 2019 issue of Up North Lit. Up North Lit is a web-based literary journal seeking to showcase the very best creative work of emerging and established writers and artists in the Midwest.

Their mission is to bring the work of high school students into conversation with the work of experienced writers and artists at any point of their career and see what new discussions, perspectives and ideas are formed.

Mau is also the Co-Editor of The Tortoise, a literary website that showcases student writing in the greater Racine area, and she recently placed in the UW-Whitewater Creative Writing Festival in the category of Poetry.
