Check out photos taken at Mitchell, Fratt and Jerstad-Agerholm Tuesday during the first day of school.
RACINE COUNTY, WI — Children from across the area poured back into classrooms for the first day of school. Some entered the building with fanfare, participating in receiving lines, being greeted by principals, RUSD officials or public officials, such at Racine Police Chief Art Howell.
Earlier this year, the Racine Unified School District has released its 2019-20 calendar for public schools.
The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.
