Quarry Lake Park To Host Biergarten, Food Truck Rally

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI -- A new beer garden experience is coming to the Racine area later this summer, and it's featuring a "food truck rally" as part of the fun.

BrewFest Partners, a firm specializing in consulting, planning, hosting and managing beer festivals, is hosting a Pop-up Biergarten festival at Quarry Lake Park beginning Thursday, July 11, through Sunday, July 14.

County officials say the Pop-up Biergarten festival is the first event held since the Racine County Board approved ordinance changes and an application procedure that paved the way for vendors to operate beer gardens in Racine County parks.

This weekend's events include live music, a "food truck rally" on Thursday, and a Stein Hoisting Competition on Saturday night.

Children and families are welcome. Quarry Lake Park amenities include; Rest Rooms, Beach, Indoor seating and a dog park.

Special Events:

Thursday, July 11-Racine Food Truck Rally 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday, July 12 - Ceremonial Keg Tapping 3 p.m.

Saturday, July 13- Stein Hoisting Competition 8 p.m.

Sunday, July 14 - Schwimming.
