RACINE, WI – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Racine, so you can start planning now.

Independence Day
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 miles per hour in the morning.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind around 5 miles per hour becoming calm in the evening.
Annual Parade
Where: The Racine Fourth Fest Parade - one of the Midwest's largest July 4th Parades, steps off with the annual pre-parade at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 4.
When: The parade, which features more than 120 parade entries, including living statues, bands, floats, entertainers and more starts at the intersection of Goold and Main Streets and runs south down Main Street through Downtown then turns west on 14th Street.

Fireworks Display
Where: The Racine 2019 fireworks display will be starting at about 9:20 p.m.
When: The fireworks display will be housed on North Beach and on the northern pier of Reefpoint Marina. The spectacular fireworks display can be viewed from just about anywhere along the Lake Michigan lakefront.

- North Beach Park
- Zoo Beach
- Lakeview Park
On the south side of the city, try:
- Gateway Technical College Campus
- Festival Grounds
- Carre-Hogle Park
- The high bluff of Simonson Park.
