Racine Celebrates Ten IB Full Diploma Candidates

All 10 students are from Case High School, the Racine Unified School District high school that offers International Baccalaureate program.

RACINE — 10 Case High School seniors have earned the distinction as full International Baccalaureate candidates, an academic achievement that is years in the making.

Full IB Candidates:

Elizabeth Behling, Maria Jose Castillo Venegas, Noor Hammad, Zachary Hanchon, Angelina Lopez, Tyler Nelson, Hannah Parsons, Shaelyn Ramirez, Sandeep Reddy and Kennedy Stacy.

According to a report by the Racine County Eye, students who complete a full IB Diploma often go onto college ahead of the rest of their incoming class with eligibility to skip some college classes, saving themselves (and their parents!) a considerable amount of money.

This summer, these ten Full Diploma candidates will learn if they have achieved the number of points necessary to receive the IB Full Diploma, according to the Racine Unified School District.

The IB program provides an internationally accepted qualification for entry into higher education and is recognized by many universities worldwide.
