RACINE, WI β€” City officials in Racine have expanded early voting hours, which will include new evening and weekend hours, at the Racine Public Library, select Community Centers, and City Hall, for the April 2 election for City of Racine residents.

The last day to cast an absentee ballot is Friday, March 29.

β€œEnsuring that all of our citizens have the opportunity to take part in a critical tenant of our democracy, the act of voting, is a basic function of government that I take very seriously. I am proud of the work the City Clerk has done to find new ways for us to provide expanded access to the ballot box,” said Mayor Mason in a statement to Patch.

The expanded hours and locations will ensure ample opportunity for City residents to vote while also keeping lines shorter on Election Day.

Racine City Hall, 730 Washington Ave.

Regular Business days: Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 29 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St.

Regular library hours Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 29. Monday- Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tyler Domer Community Center, 2301 12th St.

Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cesar Chavez Community Center, 2221 Douglas Ave.

Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
