Racine Main Claims $3.5M Prize For April Megabucks

He chose to take the $2.46 million cash after winning the lottery.

RACINE, WI — A Racine man has claimed his winnings of $3.5 million from the April 29 Megabucks drawing, the lottery reported on Wednesday. The winning numbers were 5, 19, 26, 35, 40 and 41.

Gary Martin of Racine was the lucky man, and decided to take the cash option of $2.46 million as his prize. He purchased the winning ticket at Port of Call Liquor at 918 West Blvd. in Racine.

The Megabucks, a Wisconsin game, gives two percent incentive to the retailer that sells the winning ticket. The jackpot Wednesday night was estimated at $2 million. Drawings are every Wednesday and Saturday night.
