Racine Meth User Wanting Hotel Sex Walks in On Partner - and Oak Creek Police

A Racine man was arrested for carrying methamphetamine after he walked in on the man he was reportedly meeting for sex - and Police.

OAK CREEK, WI — A Racine man was arrested for carrying methamphetamine after he walked in on the man he was reportedly meeting for sex - and an Oak Creek Police Officer waiting for him.

According to the criminal complaint, on October 27 Oak Creek police were dispatched to the Red Roof Inn located at 6360 S.13th St. for a report of individuals using methamphetamine in room 213.

When police arrived, and went over to the room and met the man, he stated that he had used methamphetamine earlier in the day and he had invited a person to come over to use methamphetamine and engage in sexual activity.

While the man and the officer were talking, the Racine man opened the door and walked into the hotel room. When the Racine man observed an officer inside, he stated he had the wrong room and was looking for a friend.

Oak Creek police believed the man may be involved in the use of amphetamine and ordered him to stop.

Police observed the man from Racine had a backpack on him and asked him for consent to search the backpack. He gave the officer consent to search and recovered three individually wrapped Ziploc bags containing a white or off-white crystalline substance.

Based on his training and experience, police suspected this substance to be methamphetamine.

Additionally, he had four pills of what was later determined to be via the Drugs.com as Alprazolam.

The suspected Methamphetamine was submitted to the state crime lab were it weighed 2.54 g and tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.

The man was charged with delivery of a controlled substance. The names of the individuals in this report are being withheld to maintain the privacy of the actual - or perceived - orientation of both parties.
