Racine Theatre Guild Announces 2018-19 Season

The Racine Theatre Guild announced their 81st season of plays and musicals.

From the Racine Theatre Guild: The Racine Theatre Guild is proud to announce the plays and musicals that form their 2018 - 2019 season. Entering their 81st season, the community theatre invites the audience to take a break from their busy lives and join in adventures to other worlds, near, far, and fantastical.

Full season subscriptions are on sale now, starting at just $55 and include “Blithe Spirit,” “Lombardi,” “Things My Mother Taught Me,” “Wait Until Dark,” and “9 to 5 The Musical.” Limited run bonus shows, “Peter and the Starcatcher,” “A Christmas Carol: The Musical,” and “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” can also be added on to subscriptions.

For audience members with varying schedules and interests, flex passes are also available. They allow patrons the opportunity to pick and choose which shows they would like to see during times and dates that work best for them. Individual tickets will go on sale for “Peter and the Starcatcher” on Friday, May 11 and the rest of the season on Sunday, July 1.

Peter and the Starcatcher

Explore an unknown world beyond the second star to the right filled with swashbuckling pirates, jungle tyrants, beautiful mermaids, a nameless orphan and his mates, and a precocious Starcatcher. This coming-of-age story takes a magical look at the celebrated hero known as the Boy Who Would Not Grow Up before he became Peter Pan. Poetic, hilarious, and even musical, follow a mysterious treasure chest, battle against the fearsome Black Stache, and capture the joys of friendship and love on this adventure.

Blithe Spirit

A skeptic at heart, the novelist Charles Condomine invites self-proclaimed medium, Madam Arcati to his home to research a séance. Lombardi
