The Racine Theatre Guild's production of "A Comedy of Tenors" opens Friday, Feb. 23 and runs through Sunday, March 11.

RACINE, WI – The Racine Theatre Guild’s production of “A Comedy of Tenors” opens Friday, Feb. 23 and runs through Sunday, March 11.

According to the Racine Theatre Guild, in this sequel to "Lend Me a Tenor," Saunders is desperate to coordinate a concert with the best voices on the planet, if they don’t try to kill each other first.

Over-the- top Italian tenor, Tito thinks his wife, Maria, is cheating on him with Carlo, a rival tenor, and backs out of the concert. When the bellhop, Beppo, is discovered to be Tito’s doppelgänger and a brilliant singer, mistaken identities and bedroom hijinks ensue for a madcap delight. Add in a long- suffering assistant, strong-willed daughter, and ex-lover soprano, it is a frenzy of a farce promising an evening of sheer joy.
