Racine Zoo To Host Adults Night Out June 30

The Racine Zoo is welcoming adults to the Zoo on the evening of June 30 for their own version of the "Taste of Racine."

RACINE, WI— The Racine Zoo is welcoming adults to the Zoo on the evening of June 30 for their own version of the "Taste of Racine."

Called Wine Stein and Dine, the Racine Zoo is welcoming many restaurants, wineries and distilleries to showcase Wisconsin food and beverage favorites as well as new offerings from our region's culinary scene.

Guests will be able to walk leisurely through the zoo after hours while sampling bites of local cuisine and unlimited samples of wine, beer and spirits. Malicki’s Piggly Wiggly, in addition to Blaze Pizza, Texas Roadhouse, and Sugar and Spice Cupcakes will be among the Zoo’s food vendors in attendance.

Wine Stein and Dine starts Saturday, June 30 at 6 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. All proceeds raisedby the Zoo from Wine Stein and Dine go to the care and conservation of the Zoo’s animal population.

As for the Wine and Stein part of the evening, Oberweis, Oppidan Distillery, Beechwood Sales and
Service, BADGER Liquor Wine and Spirits and the Purple Feet Winery will be among those
offering their latest brews and vintages.

The Racine Zoo is located right on the shoreline of Lake Michigan and is just steps away from both Zoo Beach, and also the Lake Michigan Pathway that connects the Zoo with North Beach and breathtaking views of the Lake.

Visitors will also be able to spend time by our Eastern Black Rhinos, Fennec Fox, Masai Giraffes and the Hartmann's Mountain Zebras among others.
