Repeat Offender Racks Up 19 Charges; Held on $100,000 Bond

Alondro Pratt Jr., 21, faces 19 charges including felonies after harassing his ex girlfriend and driving a vehicle involved in a shoot out.

RACINE - A Racine man is in custody following a series of chargeable offenses he reportedly committed last month. Alondro Pratt Jr, 21, of the 500 Block of 3 Mile Road, was allegedly involved in offenses leading to 19 charges against him.

According to a Journal Times article, the charges include three felonies of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, as well as two felony first-degree recklessly endangering safety charges:

  • Attempted first degree intentional homicide, as party to a crime, repeater, use of a dangerous weapon (three counts)
  • First degree recklessly endangering safety, as party to a crime, use of a dangerous weapon, repeater (two counts)
  • Stalking, use of a dangerous weapon, repeater
  • Stalking, repeater
  • Possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony
  • Dischargin a firearm from a vehicle (driver), repeater
  • Intent to contribute to the delinquency of a felony, repeater
  • Criminal damage to property, repeater (two counts)
  • Felony bail jumping, repeater
  • Misdemeanor disorderly conduct, repeater (two counts)
  • Misdemeanor disorderly conduct, use of a dangerous weapon, repeater
  • Misdemeanor bail jumping, repeater (three counts)

2016 saw Pratt in and out of jail. He committed chargeable offenses in July, August and October including misdemeanor disorderly conduct, misdemeanor bail jumping, and strangling and suffocating as domestic abuse. Many of these crimes involved his ex-girlfriend, from whom the court had ordered him to stay away.

Then, last month, police say Pratt was upset because other guys were hanging out with his ex, and he didn't want her "messing with anyone else,” according to a Fox 6 article.

On March 26th, Pratt reportedly harassed his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, leading to a physical altercation between Pratt and the new boyfriend.

Two days later, he was at it again. Allegedly driving a white Ford Explorer, Pratt was present as his passenger allegedly shot at a group of pedestrians including Pratt’s ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. It is unknown if there were any injuries or if the group returned fire.

Pratt, who is being held on $100,000 cash bond, will appear in court on April 12th for his preliminary hearing.
