Ridgewood Classic Car Show Coming Up

Ridgewood residents will vote for the best "ride," with prizes awarded to the best car and bike. Proceeds go to the residents' outing fund.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — Vintage vehicles will have their day in the sun at Ridgewood Care Center.

The seventh annual Classic Car and Motorcycle Show will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, in the parking lot of Ridgewood, 3205 Wood Road.

Ridgewood residents will vote for the best “ride,” with prizes awarded to the best car and bike. All proceeds go to the residents’ outing fund.

To show off your classic car or motorcycle, contact Bethany Tangerstrom at 262-554-2236. Registration is free. Participants should arrive between noon and 1 p.m. to set up.

Those participating will receive a free lunch and raffle ticket.

In addition to the classic vehicles, the event features DJ music by Krazy Kenny from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; an Elvis Presley appearance from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; raffle prizes, concessions, complimentary popcorn and snow-cones. There is no cost to attend.

Ridgewood Care Center is located off Highway 11 just south of Regency Mall. In the event of rain, the show will be moved to Wednesday, September 27 th , from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
