Sealed Air YMCA Back Open After Burst Pipe

A pipe that burst in the building's lobby caused all sorts of trouble for about 18 hours between late Thursday and early Friday.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI -- The Racine Family YMCA's Sealed Air branch in Mount Pleasant is back open Friday afternoon after a burst water pipe caused the building to close down Thursday evening.

According to a post on the YMCA's Facebook page, the pipe burst in the building's lobby, causing minor flooding in the building's main hallway. As a result, Thursday evening classes had been canceled as the building shut down early for the day.

The YMCA Sealed Air branch stayed closed as the pipe issue was abated during the day Friday, and re-opened at about 3 p.m for their regular schedule.
