Senate Approves $3 Billion Foxconn Bill

MADISON, WI -- The Wisconsin State Senate passed the $3 billion incentive package designed to lure Foxconn here.

Now only Gov. Scott Walker needs to sign the bill before it becomes law.

According to state estimates, Foxconn would receive $2.85 billion in state funding over 15 years if it hires 13,000 people and builds the $10 billion electronics plant.invests $10 billion and employs 13,000 people. An additional $150 million in sales tax relief has also been promised toward the purchase of construction equipment.
