SUNDAY: Root River Paddle Challenge 2017

The Root River winds through Caledonia for about 15 miles and is an absolutely beautiful experience for those who can enjoy it.

CALEDONIA, WI — The 2017 Root River Paddle Challenge is being held Sunday, May 7 - and with all the wet weather we've been having, the river is definitely flowing.

Starting at Linwood Park, 5 Mile Road – Franksville, Town of Caledonia and ending at the Horlick Dam. The course is approximately 7.5 miles and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. All funds raised benefits the Linwood Park Kayak & Canoe Launch Project.
